We are new to the neighborhood and stumbled across Red Dog by chance, and I'm so glad we did! We had such a lovely experience on a Saturday morning for brunch. The restaurant was nearly empty, I believe it's because they were closed on weekends for a while but reopened for the weekend crowd again recently. Get the word out, folks! Roberto was lovely and so helpful. He recommended I try the french toast (there were a number of options for my vegetarian diet!) and my boyfriend really enjoyed the chicken and biscuits. The coffee is very good!

Check in on yelp for your free fries!! They fries came in a large portion and with two sauces. It's a great yelp freebie! We also ordered the pork belly lettuce wraps which weren't that good. They lacked flavor and were filled with pickles. The wings were delicious! They were definitely on the spicy side and had such great asian flavor that tasted really fresh & authentic. For drinks, we went with the beer & shot combos because why not?! I think it's a decent deal. The service was really good and it wasn't too crowded on a Friday after work!

Turns out, my boss knows the owner of Red Dog Restaurant. What a small world! They used to wait tables together somewhere in the city. We didn't realize this until the owner walked by and recognized my boss, but we enjoyed our experience regardless. The place was pretty empty when we walked in around 4:00 PM on a Monday for happy hour. We were seated at a table that was directly in the sun, so I requested the barstool seats in the shade. Decent service throughout our stay. Good amount of food choices, especially during their 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM happy hour. We enjoyed and shared the salmon and avocado toast, Brussel sprouts, fries, and sliders. Quite tasty and filling. We had a few beers on tap before moving to the beer + shot combo. It was my boss' idea, of course. This feels like such a cozy place to visit regularly, and we know we will because our office moved into the adjacent building. It's great for large groups, too!

A group of us came here for their happy hour on a Friday afternoon and it was a pretty nice place to hang out with good bites. Plenty of natural lights and lots of space without elbowing each other. Their bar bite foods were pretty good but the menu was not too extensive. When we had like 11 people and ordered everything from the menu, I get bored of the same foods since we ordered the same thing again and again. Best things from the bar bite menu were the smoked salmon avocado roast and the beef sliders. Brussel sprouts were pretty good but a bit too greasy. Overall it was a nice place to hang out for drinks and foods.

Made brunch reservations here for 6 people on a Saturday morning before Christmas. The place is huge and was quite empty so we were the loudest ones in there. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, always letting us know when the food or drinks were gonna come out. 3 of my cousins ordered mimosas and only one of them had an actual champagne flute. We thought it was funny since were the only ones in there. The bloody marys that my other cousins ordered were delicious! Just order a side of bacon and dump it in there for a bonus! We started off with brussels sprouts that was served with aioli, apple sausage, bacon, and chilaquiles. The brussels sprouts was everyone's favorite, perfectly crunchy. The main entrees: chicken and bisquit, flapjacks, shrimp and grits, avocado & salmon toast. My favorite dish was the flapjack (lemon ricotta) pancakes. The chicken & biscuit was well cooked. The biscuit was moist and buttery, didn't even need to ask for jam or butter. The avocado toast was very pretty, but would've preferred the salmon a little more raw than cooked. The price per dish was a bit expensive but the portions were huge. Their food was decent but they don't get enough foot traffic here in the mornings. I heard during happy hour and dinner it gets busy though.

When you only have a short time for lunch, and you're already in a hurry, you roll the dice on a place like Red Dog. But these guys were on top of their game, and we got in and out really quickly. The service heard our hurried tones and made it happen. We had a group of eight or so, and we were seated immediately, after arriving just before the lunch rush. The space is really beautiful, clean, bright, crisp, and bigger than you think when you come rolling up on it from the outside. When there's a fried chicken sandwich on the menu with a "sweet & vicious" sauce I think you're morally obligated to get it, which I did, and it was indeed quite good and not so vicious. Other standout lunch items on my trip were a fried green tomato sandwich, burger, brown rice bowl, fish, pappardelle pasta, and braised beef short ribs. They do have a nice selection of salads, soups, and I was actually intrigued by the app menu which had a variety of dishes from chili cheese fries to beer bread, from burrata & speck to salmon & avocado and toast. We did have the blistered padron peppers, and they were quite tasty indeed, and not at all spicy. Win! I plowed through the sandwich pretty quickly, we paid, and were out on our way after not more than 45 minutes. I don't know if this is customary, but they get extra props from me for the hustle that day.

I came here at 11:30am for brunch. Very modern atmosphere. Nice looking bar. This 303 2nd Street plaza has changed a lot with new restaurants here. So Maya Mexican restaurant was replaced with This Red Dog . Sorry no live dogs are allowed here! LOL . Oh with Yelp check in I got free fries with ketchup and aioli. Saved me $5! Whoo! Hoo! This went well with our dishes. Anywho...my friend orders the "classic breakfast platter" that includes 2 eggs, thick cut bacon slices, red potatoes , English muffin and homemade jam. Since I just came back from New Orleans, I still couldn't resist trying the Mary Chicken and biscuits with nice sausage gravy. We shared the dishes and we liked both of them. No room for dessert unfortunately. But they do make their own donut on site! I do want to come back and try their burger because that looked good too. There were only two servers. They never rushed us. Offered refills for coffee . It was little hard to get attention of the waiter when I wanted to correct the bill because the waiter forgot to make the fries complementary because of Yelp check in. It was busy during lunch time with larger crowds and most of dining tables were full, but seating by bar were opened on this Sunday afternoon.
